-------------------------------------------------------------BU-CBEM.
What can we find in this one of the richest, populated, intelligent campus of Bicol University, the College of Business, Economic and Management (BU- CBEM)?
Bicol University Seal |
Tall Buildings, wide parking lots and spaces, strict security guards, and some cool faculty members and, of course, persevered students, who are, despite of being haggard-looking in fulfilling their requirements in school, still excelled in most of their specialties, in managing, business, economic situations and in entrepreneurial aspects.
Speaking of Management, we have here our “astig” dean, namely Dr. Ramesis M. Lorino, who obviously developed and developing our college to be known against other colleges of Bicol University. He is driving this college to achieve its vision, mission, goals and objectives by doing, what he thinks, is for the better of this campus.
Let us explain and react to some of this campus’ goods, slowly.
Bicol University Map Interpretation |
Tall Buildings – This college has two-storey building ( Seva Building) and 2 other building, the Economics building and the newly constructed ISO building, which is projected to have up-stairs and 2nd floor in the near future. (I think they’re just postponing the building construction because of the disturbance that might affect the class in ISO building during school days; I also think that this construction will be this coming summer this year.)
Wide Land Spaces – Parking spaces and plant spaces is abundant in this college, this college still have spaces where building and establishments will future constructed for the benefits of the CBEM people. The space in front and behind of the SEVA building, the space near the student lounge, space behind the Economics building, and in front of the ISO Building.( I want those spaces to be filled with functional establishments, such as play grounds, soccer fields, and basketball courts, I suggest. Haha! joke =))
Strict Se’kyu – “ID mo?”, “Sapatos mo?”, “Nata ka nakasibilyan?” Those are the repeated spoken lines by the gate’s guardians every time students, outsiders, faculty member passes the GATE 2 of Daraga, Campus. This is obviously for the sake of maintaining the orderliness and discipline in this college. (huhu, thanks guard for not letting me in sometimes I am entering CBEM in rubber shoes. It’s good that you are not disapproving my haircut sometimes I am entering uncombed. :p)
SOME cool faculty members – Some of the teachers and professors are good and better than other colleges’ teachers. ( I can now compare this because, 1st, I’ve been a student of other colleges, such as, CS, CAL, CSSP, IPESR. I never had a class at CENG, CE, CN, and other far and forested Campuses of Bicol University). CBEM professors teach strictly facilitating and advising there students by having professional reports (projected presentation, power point), examinations after discussions, projects that are needed to compiled in some business subjects, tours to have rich experiences to those who will join, seminars and symposiums with snacks, demonstration and actual applications of theories and principles in this college. OJT and Practicum are also included in those acts.( Backlash! May I remind you all, I emphasized a word up there.)
ASTIG students – We have here good, I mean BEST, determined, persevered, intelligent, educated students here in CBEM. (F.Y.I. CBEM has the most of beautiful faces in the whole Bicol University, “san ka pa!” having 1:5 ratio of male students over girls. ”Swimming in a pool of girls” Some other college guys said.)
Enough of those things!
JUST VISIT AND enroll in Bicol University. Especially in this COOL College. “SI’BEM”
See yah!
Oops.
We have also some achievers in this college.
And Believe it or not, I think I love this college.
